picking treasures ...
these are my treasures ... saga seeds. they are also memories from my childhood. there used to be a saga tree (Adenanthera pavonina) in front of my school and we used to scramble around picking up the saga seeds while waiting for transport home. there was a time i used to cycle all round the neighbourhood with a schoolmate and we will always stop to pick up saga seeds when we come across them. happy times ... joyful times ... carefree times.

I never really saw them as treasures then but something we picked up for use as 'counting seeds'. In fact, i had long forgotten about them until recently when memories were stirred, and treasures they became.
I never heard of saga seeds what did you do with these collected treasures?

Sharon: my mum wun tell u this but we use the seeds to shoot others(quite painful) especially boys in school...lol...
hi girl, it's weird that they translate the blog into russian. wonder if it happens elsewhere in other languages. sure hope it does not happen here.
Sharon: I put them into glass jars and other containers. they are really pretty especially when you get lots of them together. and I don't shoot them at others, unlike Evelyn, my daughter!!
no la mum....they only translate the menus not the whole blog...but it is still irritating bc i just realise i can't understand to properly put comments bc it is in ukrainian not russian so i dunno which is post or sth...
those are pretty.... what does the plant look like that they come from? can you eat them as well... or just shoot them and put them in jars to admire them?
