wool is dear here as well... not cheap like in the USA by any means. I have a whole list of people who need me to knit one for their cat now...lol.... I reckon where you live is a lot like where I used to live in the USA... but we had seasons... winter was a bit cooler and rainy...but the summer was really HOT!!!....
