my indulgence

This is my on-the-spur-of-the-moment impulsive indulgence. It is a bench made out of wooden railway sleepers - rock solid and a super heavyweight. This is a family heirloom that I am passing down ... I hope the generations to come will love it as I do.

sharon - yes, it would probably last froever. A beauty, isn't it?

Madwag - I wish but no .. it was a purchase. I've been looking for something similar for a very long time and such things cannot be hurried. It must "speak" to you, if you know what I mean.

I know exactly what you mean. My husband and I are like that too. A lot of the things in our house are like that too. What software do you use to alter your image like that?

The bench is really neat, and I love the way you've altered the photo. It makes it look like the bench is moving through time and space - a kind of graphic representation of how it will pass down to future generations.
